	sailor’s delight pincushion
		During the late seventeenth century, sailor’s of the high seas would create these mementos for their sweethearts using straight pins for the design. Unfortunately due to their usefulness, few intact examples exist today. Using sumptuous velvet and steel pins we will re-create this unique piece of nautical history. 1 class Monday February 4 7:00-10:00pm

	quintessential needlebook
		For many years we have discussed the creation of a “quintessential” needlecase. Ladies, now is the time! This “needle book” will be made up of individual pages, each housing a different needle featuring the techniques most used by that needle. The four classes this session will feature milliners, embroidery, chenille and tapestry needles.
